Joint protest against Oli govt from Feb 2nd week: Prachanda



KATHMANDU: Chairman of Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Pushpa Kamal Dahal alias Prachanda has said a joint protest would be launched from the second week of February.

Talking to media persons from the demonstration site, Prachanda said talks are underway with civil society activists, main opposition Nepali Congress, Janata Samajwadi Party among others to jointly stage demonstrations against the unconstitutional activities of the Oli-led government.

“The joint protest rally will probably will start from the second week of February. The joint protest will end the tyrannical Oli-led government”, said Prachanda.

He further said the administering the oath of office and secrecy to the officials recommended by the government in the constitutional bodies is a height of despotism.
