COVID-19: India records 16,660 new cases, 215 deaths

NEW DELHI: India recorded 16,660 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, taking the caseload to 10,341,291.

Currently, 245,474 are undergoing treatment at various isolation centers and hospitals. Meanwhile, 9,946,131 have returned home after treatment.

Similarly, the number of deaths from the coronavirus in India has crossed the 149,600-mark.

With 215 deaths in a single day, the number of deaths from the virus has reached 149,686, according to the latest figures by Worldometers.
