NCP Row: Prachanda-Nepal faction holding SC meeting today

KATHMANDU: The Prachanda-Nepal faction of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) is holding its Standing Committee (SC) meeting on Monday.

The SC meeting will take place at the party office in Peris Danda at 1 pm, informed leader Yogesh Bhattarai.

The meeting will dwell on the protest programs against the dissolution of the House of Representatives (HoR), Bhattarai added.

The SC meeting chaired by Madhav Nepal on Sunday formed a task-force on the remaining task of party unification and allocation of duties and responsibilities under the coordination of Nepal.

The disgruntled faction has also announced the second phase of protest programs against the Oli-led government and the dissolution of HoR.

As per the announced programs, the faction is organizing cadres’ orientation programs from ward to municipality level starting today.
