Nepal SBI Bank provides dustbins to Janaki Temple for keeping premises clean



KATHMANDU: Nepal SBI Bank Ltd, under its corporate social responsibility initiatives, has handed over 12 dustbins to Janaki Temple Management, for keeping the premises clean, in Janakpur, on Friday.

The bank believes this initiative will enhance the beauty of the Janaki Temple and will also support tourism and add to the comfort of pilgrims visiting the temple, a statement issued by the bank said.

The bank also handed over and installed QR code and POS Machine at Janaki Temple which will enable to receive the donation through digital medium from local as well as foreign pilgrims. The bank believes in enabling digital donation will ease out the millions of local as well as foreign visitors, interested to donate digitally.

Nepal SBI’s Managing Director & CEO Dipak Kumar De, Deputy CEO & CFO Md. Rizwan Alam, Chief Operating Officer Yadvender Kant handed over Dustbins, QR code and POS to Successor Mahanta Shree Ram Roshan Das Baisnav, Janaki Temple amidst a function held at Janaki Temple in the presence of Mahanta Ram Tapeshwor Das Baisnav, priest Shree Rishikesh Jha, the bank’s Province 2 Head Lekha Nath Pokhrel, Branch Manager – Janakpur Branch Dipendra Thakur, and other officials of Janaki Mandir Temple Management and Nepal SBI Bank Ltd.

Hundreds of pilgrims present on the occasion witnessed the event.
