Devotees throng Devghat to observe Bala Chaturdashi



CHITWAN: Devotees in large numbers have congregated at Devghat Dham near the confluence of the Kali Gandaki and Trishuli rivers to sow the holy seeds on the occasion of the Bala Chaturdashi.

The number of devotees has increased this year though the shrine witnessed limited number in the past two years for fear of COVID-19.
Arrangements have been made to facilitate the devotees to take holy bath and perform the rituals easily and smoothly, it is said.

Executive Director of Devghat Area Development Committee Dhiran Babu Ghimire said that the visitors thronged there from Thursday afternoon and started to sow the holy seeds from 3:00 this morning. According to Ghimire, around 50,000 devotees have thronged the site today.
