NEPSE increases by 5.22 points today



KATHMANDU: Nepal Stock Exchange Ltd (NEPSE) has increased by 5.22 points on Wednesday.

With today’s increment, the index has reached 2848.84 points.

A total of 9.9 million shares of 229 companies traded today resulting in a turnover of Rs 6.55 billion.

Shares of banking, development banks, hydropower, finance, microfinance, manufacturing, and other groups increased slightly today.

Shares of insurance, investment, hotel, and business groups declined.

The largest share of Nabil Bank worth Rs 1.17 billion has been bought and sold. Shares of Mahalakshmi Development Bank, Sahas Urja, and ICFC Finance increased 10 percent today. Shares of Chyangdi Hydro Company decreased the most at 5.5 percent.
