Pancha Singh appointed President of ANNISU Revolutionary



KATHMANDU: Pancha Singh has been appointed as Chairperson of All Nepal National Independent Students’ Union (Revolutionary), a student wing of the CPN (Maoist Center).

CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal “Prachanda” announced the decision saying that Singh would be the Chairperson of ANNISU (Revolutionary).

This is the first time in the history of ANNISU (Revolutionary) that a woman has become the President of the wing.

Pancha Singh and Surendra Basnet were the main contenders for the post of the President.

The wing had given the responsibility of selecting the chairman to party chairman Prachanda.

Leaders of the student wing had reached Prachanda’s residence in Khumaltar this morning to discuss the issue of leadership selection.
