Biratnagar-Jogbani border point comes into operation



KATHMANDU: The Biratnagar-Jogbani border point has come into full operation from Saturday.

The government had shut the border crossing between Rani of Biratnagar and Jogbani of India as the COVID-19 pandemic spread.

The cabinet meeting held on September 27 decided to open the border point. .

Morang Chief District Officer Kashi Raj Dahal informed that the border point has been fully operational since Saturday.

Vehicles will now be able to travel between India and Nepal via the checkpoint. The administration has stated that the security measures will be strictly enforced.
