UML senior leader Nepal calls meeting of its central members Wednesday

KATHMANDU: CPN-UML senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal has called a meeting of the faction’s central committee members on Wednesday.

The meeting to be held at Shankhamul in Kathmandu will discuss the current political situation and the possibility of joining the government.

Meanwhile, the meeting will also discuss the issue of party unity.

The prolonged dispute within the UML has yet to be resolved with each faction rigid to their respective stance.

While UML Chairman KP Oli has already urged leaders of the disgruntled faction, sans senior leader Nepal, to join the party, senior leader Nepal has been insisting on a “dignified” unity.
