Nepal sees 3,383 new coronavirus cases in last 24 hours

Kathmandu valley sees 904 new cases



KATHMANDU: The country recorded a total of 3,383 new cases of coronavirus while 1,994 infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.

Of the confirmed cases, 10,638 were detected through RT-PCR method and 6080 from antigen-method.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, altogether 24 infected patients died of the virus infection in the past 24 hours. With the recent death toll, total deaths caused due to COVID-19 reached 9,922 in the country.

In the meantime, Kathmandu valley has seen 904 cases of coronavirus in past 24 hours. The Ministry updated that there have been 613 new cases of coronavirus in Kathmandu district whereas Lalitpur and Bhaktapur district witnessed 177 and 114 cases respectively.
