Two killed in motorcycle collision in Saptari



JANAKPURDHAM: Two people have died in a motorcycle collision in Saptari district.

The deceased have been identified as Buddha Sagar Chaudhary, 28, of Shambhunath municipality-7 and Ram Shankar Yadav, 28, of Lahan municipality-17, Siraha, informed DSP Madhav Prasad Kafle.

The accident took place when an ill-fated motorcycle, Sa 11 Pa Kha 4038, heading to east from west collided head-on with another motorcycle, State No 2-01-001 Pa 9556, coming from the opposite direction while overtaking a passenger bus, Ba 2 Kha 5682, in Khadak municipality-4 in Saptari district on Monday  evening.

Police said they are investigating the case.
