UML Chair Oli and leader Nepal hold telephone conversation

KATHMANDU: CPN-UML senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal has held a telephone conversation with party Chairman KP Sharma Oli Saturday afternoon.

In the telephone call, leader Nepal requested Chair Oli to halt the ongoing Central Committee meeting as it was called without necessary consultation. He also told Oli that leaders close to him had decided not to withdraw their support to opposition leader Deuba, in spite of the warning given to them by the establishment faction Friday.

Chairman Oli had announced that there would be no unity unless the signatures were withdrawn by Monday evening.

Leader Nepal also proposed to mobilize the task force formed to settle disputes in the party.
