Royalists take to street demanding restoration of constitutional monarchy and Hindu kingdom



KATHMANDU: An organization called Swasthya Nagarik Abhiyan has organized a protest rally in Kathmandu, on Saturday, demanding the restoration of constitutional monarchy and Hindu Kingdom.

The participants of the protest organized in Maitighar, Kathmandu chanted slogans demanding restoration of monarchy in the country.

They also demanded to ensure that every Nepali gets inoculated against COVID-19 and asked the government to stop the politics of prohibitory orders and lockdown. The protestors sought military interference to curb the corrupt politics and the politicians.

They accused the government of terrorizing the people and making them captive so that the corrupt politicians could continue their abuse of authority.
