UML’s establishment raps Nepal-Khanal faction for calling CC meeting

KATHMANDU: The ruling CPN-UML has come down heavily on the Nepal-Khanal faction for calling a separate central committee (CC) meeting of the group today.

Issuing a press note on Thursday morning, central party office’s secretary Sher Bahadur Tamang urged the leaders of the Nepal-Khanal faction not to engage in such activities against the party statute.

“There has been a legal provision to call a patry meeting at the consultation of the party chief,” reminds the press note issued by Tamang.

Nepal-Khanal faction has called a central committee meeting at 11 am today.
