COVID-19 infected rate at Bheri Hospital drops to 30 percent

NEPALGUNJ: The coronavirus positive rate at Bheri Hospital has dropped to 30 percent of late.

The positive rate, which was 75 percent in the first week of May, has dropped to 30 percent, according to the hospital administration.

The number of people coming to the hospital for PCR has also decreased.

As many as 550 people used to undergo PCR tests last month, which has dropped to around 100 people at present.

Out of 200 beds at the Bheri Hospital, 33 beds are vacant.

Currently, 157 people are undergoing treatment at the hospital. Of them, 28 are being treated in ICU and 9 on ventilators.
