KMC provides free treatment to COVID-19 patients



KATHMANDU: The Kathmandu Medical College in Sinamangal said it would provide free treatment to COVID-19 infected patients.

An agreement was reached between the Ministry of Health and Population and KMC on Sunday to provide free treatment to Coronavirus-infected people.

The Chairman of the hospital, Dr. Sunil Sharma, informed that free treatment of Coronavirus infected patients has started from Sunday as per the agreement.

“By signing an agreement with the Ministry of Health, we have made arrangements for free treatment for coronavirus infections,” said Dr Sharma.

The agreement stipulates that the cost of treatment will be borne by the Ministry of Health and Population.

The Nobel Teaching Hospital in Biratnagar, run by Dr. Sharma, has also started free treatment of Coronavirus infected a few days ago.
