NTB honors BBC Master Chef first runner-up Sah

KATHMANDU: Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) has honored first runner-up of ‘BBC Master Chef Professional UK’ Nepali Chef Santosh Sah in recognition of his contribution to promote Nepali food across the globe and boost the image of the country.

Secretary at Minster for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation and NTB chairperson Yadav Prasad Koirala and NTB chief executive officer Dr Dhannajya Regmi honored popular chef Sah with a letter of appreciation and a shawl.

Sah had played laudable role to keep up the glory of Nepal and Nepali by presenting country’s typical food items in the global arena.

Sah is publishing a book reflecting his experiences in five languages. Popular Penguin Publications is bringing out his book ‘Cook Book’.

Sah said that he has come to Nepal for the task of publishing the book. He added that he has developed a global roadmap and the campaign would be initiated from London.
