Nepal’s COVID-19 death toll reaches 2,031 with one new fatality

KATHMANDU: As many as one COVID-19 patient succumbed to the pandemic in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the new deaths have taken the country’s death toll from the coronavirus to 2,031 as of Wednesday afternoon.

Likewise, Nepal recorded a total of 142 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the coronavirus tally reached 2,71,431 in the country as of Wednesday afternoon.

Likewise, the Ministry shared that now the country has 2,335 reported active cases of the virus.

In the past 24 hours, altogether 206 infected people got recovery from the virus infection.

So far, 2,67,065 people recovered from the coronavirus infection in the country.
