KATHMANDU: President Bidhya Bhandari’s political affairs advisor Lal Babu Yadav has ruled out the possibility of imposition of President’s rule in the country.

Speaking at a program in Kathmandu on Wednesday, he said, “There will be no such move.”

Yadav added that imposition of the President’s rule in the country will lead to unfortunate circumstances, including the collapse of the constitution.

“The country is not facing any conflict or insurgency at the moment,” he said while ruling out the possibility of President’s rule.

Stating that the case against the dissolution of the House of Representatives (HoR) is sub judice at the Supreme Court, he said everyone should abide by its verdict.

He also raised concern over what he said, “unnecessary dragging” of the President to controversy.
