Nepse up 20.56 points in first two hours

KATHMANDU: Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) has increased by 20.56 points (0.83 %) to reach at 2,594.30 in the first two hours Wednesday, the fourth treading day of the week.

Swabhiman Laghubitta witnessed an increment in its share value by 10 percent during the period. Similarly, the share value of Janautthan Community Laghubitta and Unnati Sahakarya Laghubitta also increased by 9.98 percent.

Shares of 196 companies worth Rs 4,178,400,000 were sold during the period of two hours. Of the 12 groups involved in the transaction, indices of five groups went down while that of remaining seven groups went up.

Global IME Bank emerged out to the largest company with a transaction of Rs 339,300,000 (Rs 404 per unit of shares) during the period.
