KATHMANDU: Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Spokesperson Pradeep Kumar Gyawali has urged the leaders of the NCP Prachanda-Nepal faction to return to the party’s mainstream.

Speaking at a program organized by the party’s cultural wing here today, leader Gyawali, also the Minister for Foreign Affairs, argued the leaders to rejoin the party’s mainstream by forgetting mistakes though they were puzzled and confused in the past.

He said that the government took a right move by announcing the dates for elections.

Furthermore, Minister Gyawali claimed that the Supreme Court will give a verdict in the favor of the government regarding the dissolution of the House of Representatives (HoR).

Similarly, NCP Standing Committee Member and Minister for Drinking Water and Sanitation Mani Thapa said NCP Chairman Prachanda took a wrong decision by breaking the principle of consensus in the party.

The chief of the party’s cultural wing and central committee member Khagendra Rai argued that all progressive artistes and writers have backed the mainstream party.
