COVID-19: India records 21,222 new cases, 266 deaths



NEW DELHI: India recorded 21,222 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, taking the caseload to 10,324,631.

Currently, 248,633 are undergoing treatment at various isolation centers and hospitals. Meanwhile, 9,926,527 have returned home after treatment.

Similarly, the number of deaths from the coronavirus in India has crossed the 149,400-mark.

With 266 deaths in a single day, the number of deaths from the virus has reached 149,471, according to the latest figures by Worldometers.
