KATHMANDU: The Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) has fixed Rs 100,000 as candidacy registration fee for the post of chairperson in the party’s unity general convention.
Similarly, candidacy registration fee for the post of vice-chair is Rs 75,000; for general secretary, it is Rs. 50,000 and to file canidacy for central members, the fee is fixed Rs 15,000, said RPP Election Committee Coordinator Niranjan Thapa.
The RPP General Convention that started on Wednesday is electing a chairperson, 4 vice chairpersons, including 1 woman, 3 general secretaries, including 1 woman, and 141 members to the central committee.
According to Election Committee Coordinator Thapa, voting process would begin Friday as the committee is preparing to publish the voters list by Thursday and conduct voting on Friday.
