CoAS Sharma inspects Eastern Command Headquarters in Hile of Dhankuta



KATHMANDU: Chief of Army Staff (CoAS) Prabhuram Sharma has inspected the Eastern Command Headquarters in Hile, Dhankuta, and Barakah battalion of the Nepal Army (NA) on Tuesday.

During the visit, he took stock of the status of the deployment of the NA personnel in the command, the implementation plan, including the timeframe, of the command concept and provisions of coordination with the provinces.

He also addressed the NA officers stationed at the battalion and the Eastern Command, according to the NA Directorate of Public Relations and Information.

CoAS Sharma is scheduled to reach Bhimfedi, Makawanpur, Wednesday to lay the foundation stone of the ‘Chisapani Gadhi Protection and Beautification’ project to be established for the protection, promotion and proper management of the Chisapani fort.

After wrapping up the program in Makawanpur, CoAS will return to Kathmandu Wednesday itself.
