Kathmandu DAO allows deusi, bhailo programs till 9 pm



KATHMANDU: Kathmandu District Administration Office has allowed to engage in Tihar celebrations such as deusi, bhalo, dancing and singing till 9 pm, given the festivities are marked in a civilized and peaceful manner.

The DAO, issuing a statement Tuesday, said deusi and bhailo program can be held by following the health standards in view of the COVID-19 infection risk.

Meanwhile, it also urged not to resort to hooliganism during the festival and warned against use, sale and purchase of firecrackers during the festival.
