KATHMANDU: Chairman of the ruling coalition partner CPN-Unified Socialist and former Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal has said that there is no possibility of early elections.
Speaking to reporters in Chandranigahapur of Rautahat on Tuesday, leader Nepal said that there is no possibility of early election as some people want.
“Elections are held on time. For that, now the election process begins, the preparations for by-elections in vacant seats in Province Assembly are underway as well,” he said.
“Elections at all levels should be held at the same time without incurring any cost to the nation,” Nepal said and referring to CPN-UML Chairman KP Oli said, “Early elections are unlikely, as some have suggested. “
The Unified Socialist remarked that the discussions would be held on the solution of the problems seen in the court after the return of Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba.
