Nepal records 469 new COVID-19 cases, 11 deaths in last 24 hours

Kathmandu valley witnesses 140 fresh coronavirus cases

KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of 469 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 422 persons tested positive for COVID-19 through the RT-PCR method while 47 tested positive through the Antigen method.

According to the Ministry, 99 persons in Kathmandu, 36 in Lalitpur, and 5 in Bhaktapur have been tested positive for COVID-19, making the Kathmandu valley’s fresh coronavirus cases 140 in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry, 11 people have succumbed to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.

Meanwhile, 555 persons have returned home after a complete health recovery from COVID-19.
