KATHMANDU: The Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD) has predicted rains in many parts of Province 2 and in a few places of the other provinces today.
According to the Division, light rain is occurring in a few places of Bagmati, Gandaki, Pradesh 2 and Lumbini this morning.
The weather will remain partly to generally cloudy across the country with chances of light to moderate rains in some parts of the country today, said the Division.
Similarly, the weather will remain partly to generally cloudy across the country with chances of light to moderate rains amidst thunderstorms in many places of Pradesh 1 and Pradesh 2 and in a few places of the rest of the provinces tonight.
According to a weather bulletin issued this morning, heavy rain will occur in a few places of Pradesh 1 and Pradesh 2 tonight.
Meanwhile, the Division has urged the people living in these places to take precautions, warning of floods and landslides.
The low-pressure monsoon trough which is currently located in the southern part of the Indian State of Bihar is having an impact on the weather system of Nepal.
