Unified Socialist Chair Nepal warns not to be deceived by Oli’s 10-point unity deal

KATHMANDU: Chairman of the CPN Unified Socialist Madhav Kumar Nepal has warned provincial lawmakers, people’s representatives and party leaders and cadres not to be deceived by 10-point unity deal.

Chair Nepal urged in this regard at the party’s parliamentary party (PP) office in Singha Durbar on Thursday. He asked not to be misled by KP Oli’s ploy of 10-point unity agreement.

He argued that Oli did not exhibit any sign of admitting that the March 12 meeting was unilateral and held in violation of procedures.

He clarified that the Unified Socialist would never meger with the Maoist Center stating that the party came to existence after mutiny in the CPN-UML. And such false predictions were attempts to tarnish his image.

Lawmakers of the Unified Socialist reached Singha Durbar Thursday after the Parliament Secretariat provided the party its PP office.
