NEPALGUNJ: Patients and their attendants have got relief after Bheri Hospital in Nepalgunj has managed a full meal for as low as Rs 20 per person.
Anjani Mata Rasoi Ghar, a religious organization, has been providing food to patients and their attendants by setting up a camp in the premises of the hospital. “In the beginning, we managed a meal for Rs 20 per person for patients and their attendants only as lunch.
But later, we have managed food two times a day after COVID-19 started taking its toll,” said Bijaya Gupta, custodian of the Sundarkanda Mitra Mandal, an organisation that runs the Ghar.
Meanwhile, many donors have been providing donation to the Ghar. ‘Kurmi-Barma Sahayogi Haat’, an organisation for the upliftment of Kurmi community in Banke, donated food items worth Rs 60,000 to the Ghar.
