KATHMANDU: National Examination Board (NEB) has said that the annual examination of Grade 12 has not been postponed.

Ruling out the news about the postponement of the exam as baseless, NEB Chairman Chandra Mani Poudel said that the discussion about the postponement of class 12 examination was just a rumor on social media.

“Some online news portals have written that the exam has been postponed. So far no such decision has been taken,” Chairman Poudel said, adding, “We will try our best to conduct the examination on time. If the situation makes it necessary to postpone, we will inform on time.”

The Board is preparing to conduct the examination at the home center from August 15 to 25.
