SC meeting of UML’s Nepal faction underway in Buddhanagar



KATHMANDU: The Standing Committee (SC) meeting of the Madhav Kumar Nepal faction of the UML is underway in Buddhanagar, Kathmandu, Monday.

The leaders of the faction have gathered to formulate strategy in terms of unity with the rival faction led by UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli and the latest political developments.

Though rival UML factions sealed a 10-point deal for unity in the party, the two side have yet to stand together and resolve issues related to it.

Meanwhile, the Standing Committee of the Oli faction is also meeting Monday to discuss plans to drive the party forward. They met Sunday as well and have summoned a Central Committee meet for August 8.
