KATHMANDU: Diplomatic Missions in Kathmandu Valley have been allowed to conduct urgent examinations and interviews by following health standards during the prohibitory order.

A meeting of Chief District Officers (CDOs) of Kathmandu, Lalitpur and Bhaktapur held Wednesday decided to facilitate such exams and interviews to be conducted by diplomatic missions.

With the decision, examinations and interviews for foreign employment can be conducted by complying with health safety standards prescribed by the District Administration Offices (DAOs).

The CDOs meeting also decided to prolong the ongoing prohibitory order until mid-June, with slight relaxation.
