Chitwan extends prohibitory order for a week



CHITWAN:  The District Administration Office, Chitwan has extended the ongoing prohibitory order until June 10.

The prohibitory order had been imposed in Chitwan since April 28 following the spike in COVID-19 cases.

The prohibitory order extended for the second time is expiring tomorrow midnight.

Concluding that the COVID-19 cases decreased due to the prohibitory orders extended for the first and the second and third time, Chief District Officer Prem Lal Lamichhan has said the order has been extended for the fourth time on the recommendation of the District COVID-19 Crisis Management Center (DCCMC).

People are urged to stay indoors and wear masks, use sanitizers and strictly maintain social distancing rules during the prohibitory order.

Meanwhile, assemblies, training, seminars, festivals, movie halls, party palaces, health clubs, restaurants among others will remain shut during the period.
