Lumbini Pradesh holding budget session from today



KATHMANDU: The Budget session of the Lumbini Pradesh is taking place from today.

Province Chief Dharma Nath Yadav has called for the eight budget session for 1 pm today on the recommendation of the provicial government.

The budget session has been summoned by taking the opposition alliance into confidence who were, earlier, boycotting Chief Minister (CM) Shankar Pokharel.

The opposition alliance will raise the question over the legitimacy of Chief Minsiter Pokharel and his government, informed Nepali  Congress Lumbini Pradesh Chief Whip Fakhruddhin Khan.

According to Province Assembly secretariat,  reading out a letter sent by Province Chief, reshuffling of ministers, and the resignation tendered by two Provincial Assembly members are on the agend in the meeting today.

Two Provincial Assembly members – Drig Narayan Pandey of Kapilvastu, who was earlier elected from CPN-UML, and Amar Dangi from Dang had resigned from their posts.
