India’s COVID-19 cases cross 28.3 million

NEW DELHI: India recorded 133,228 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, taking the caseload to 28,306,883.

Currently, 1,800,777 are undergoing treatment at various isolation centers and hospitals. Meanwhile, 26,170,992 have returned home after treatment.

Similarly, the number of deaths from the coronavirus in India has crossed the 335,100-mark.

With 3,205 deaths in a single day, the number of deaths from the virus has reached 335,114, according to the latest figures collated by the Worldometers.

Broken out in Wuhan City of China in December 2019, the coronavirus has killed 3,575,258 and infected 171,900,328 globally until the filing of this news.
