Govt to distribute free SIM card in four provinces

KATHMANDU: The government has announced to distribute free SIM cards in four states.

Speaking in a program organized to mark National Communication and Information Technology Day on Sunday, Minister for Information and Communication Technology Parbat Gurung announced to distribute free sims in four provinces.

Minister Gurung informed that the government will distribute free SIM cards in all the districts of Terai of Province No. 1, Province No. 2, Karnali and Sudur Pashchim.

Although the government has announced to distribute free sims, it is not clear when the sims will be distributed.
