Special session of Lumbini Provincial Assembly ends



BUTWAL: The special session of the Lumbini Provincial Assembly has ended.

The Parliament Secretariat ended the special session by pasting a notice on Sunday afternoon.

According to Dinesh Adhikari, Information Officer of the Parliament Secretariat, the decision to this effect was made after the state chief Dharmanath Yadav sent a letter concluding the special session.

Earlier, the state government had recommended to the state chief to end the special session of the Lumbini state assembly that was called for today to discuss the no-confidence motion that was registered against Chief Minister Shankar Pokharel.

Chief Minister Pokharel, who resigned today, had asked the state chief to end the special session of the state assembly.
