Nepal-Khanal faction to form parallel structure in Udayapur on Saturday



KATHMANDU: The Nepal-Khanal faction of the ruling CPN-UML is making preparations to form a parallel committee in Udayapur district.

According to a UML source, the disgruntled faction will prepare a district committee in Udayapur district on Saturday.

Udayapur district is the home district of Jagannath Khatiwada.

The Nepal-Khanal faction that has already formed class-based organizations has expedited the formation of the parallel committees, of late.

On Thursday, the faction appointed leader Surendra Pandey as the coordinator of Gandaki Pradesh.

In the course of creating parallel committees, the faction appointed Dhanraj Acharya as chairperson of Kaski, Ram Chandra Bhattarai of Syangja, Bal Krishna Subedi of Myagdi, Indra Lal Sapkota of Baglung, Bhakta Kunwar of Parbat, Shankar Narayan Shrestha of Tanahun, Ram Babu Adhikari  of Lamjung, and Dhanajyana Sharma has been appointed as chairperson in Nawalpur.

Similarly, Chudamai Jangali has been appointed as in-charge of Syangja and Gorkha, Sri Maya Thakali in Myagdi, Indra Lal Sapkota in Baglung, Moti Paudel in Parbat, Pratap Lal Shrestha in Tanahun and Krishna Paudel has been appointed as in-charge of Nawalpur.
