14,977 foreigners visited Nepal in March: NTB

KATHMANDU: As many as 14,977 foreign tourists have arrived in Nepal in March this year.

This is the highest number compared to the number of international tourists who visited Nepal in the first two months of 2021.

A total of 32,997 foreigners arrived in Nepal in the first three months of this year. Of them, 8,874 arrived in January and 9,146 in February, according to the data maintained by the Nepal Tourism Board (NTB).

In the first three months of the year 2020, 34,025 foreign tourists had visited Nepal. Similarly, 127,315 foreigners had visited Nepal in the first three months of 2019.

In March this year, the highest number of tourists came from India followed by America with 1,703 and China with 1,207.
