Nepal is going through a crisis: Dr Baburam Bhattarai

KATHMANDU: Chairman of the Federal Council of Janata Samajwadi Party Dr Baburam Bhattarai has said that Nepal is going through a crisis.

In an interview with Asian News International (ANI), Bhattarai said, “Nepal Communist Party that had formed a government with a majority is politically divided into two factions. This does not bode well for a country’s democracy when Parliament is dissolved midway leading to instability”.

He is coming back home after doctors in New Delhi confirmed that Dr Bhattarai did not have cancer in the neuro-endocrine tumor.

Doctors, meanwhile, have suggested Dr Bhattarai to undergo surgical operation to remove the tumor seen in the abdomen.

Chairman Bhattarai was admitted to the Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences in New Delhi, India on February 22.
