Two killed in Nawalparasi truck collision



NAWALPUR: Two people have died after two trucks collided head on along the East-West Highway in Nawalparasi East on Monday night.

District Police Office, Nawalpur said two trucks, Na 7 Kha 7023 and Na 6 Kha 3011, collided head-on with each other last night, leaving both the truck drivers dead.

The deceased have been identified as 34-year-old Ram Kumar Neupane of Makwanpur and Khim Bahadur BK, 51, of Kaski, DPO, Nawalpur said.

The dead bodies have been kept at Madhyabindu District Hospital for postmortem, said police.

Helpers of both the trucks have sustained critical injuries in the accident. DSP Dilip Kumar Giri they are receiving treatment in a medical college in Bharatpur.
