Foreigners ensure victory for Waling against Chandrapur



KATHMANDU: Metho Eludie Ruth hit a brace and Kiomegne Djomo Venessa Noelle scored with a brilliant free-kick as Waling Municipality Syangja (WMS) defeated Chandrapur Municipality Rautahat (CMR) 3-0 in the National Women’s League match on Tuesday.

Noelle opened the scoring in the 37th minute through a free-kick before Ruth added a second in the 45th minute. Ruth added another in the 53rd minute to claim three points for Syangja.

Syangja moves fourth in the table level on points with Nepal Police Club with eight points each but behind on goal difference.

Chandrapur lies sixth with three points.
