Govt revokes license of 10 health institutions for foreign employment



KATHMANDU: The Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Security has revoked the licenses of 10 health institutions conducting health check-ups for foreign employment.

According to Bharat Mani Pandey, Joint Secretary and Spokesperson of the Ministry, the Ministry of Labor has revoked the licenses for not submitting documents for renewal.

The revoked licenses include Metro Kathmandu Hospital, Sudha Health, and Medical Center, Godavari Diagnostic Center, Saudi Nepal Medical Center, Perfect Diagnostic Center, Anurodh Polyclinic and Diagnostic Center, Alka Hospital, Alka Polyclinic, Reliable Medical Center, and Kankai Diagnostic Center.

As per the rules of the Ministry of Labor, it has been rejected as it has not been renewed till mid-December, said Joint Secretary Pandey.

Now, there are 217 institutions left for conducting health checkups for those who want to go for foreign employment.
