Kathmandu Valley sees 65 fresh COVID-19 cases



KATHMANDU: As many as 65 persons have been infected with COVID-19 in the Kathmandu Valley in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 57 cases have been confirmed in Kathmandu, 3 in Bhaktapur, and 5 in Lalitpur.

Meanwhile, Nepal recorded a total of 171 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the coronavirus tally reached 2,71,289 in the country as of Tuesday afternoon.

Likewise, the Ministry shared that now the country has 2,400 reported active cases of the virus.

In the past 24 hours, altogether 259 infected people got recovery from the virus infection.

So far, 2,66,859 people recovered from the coronavirus infection in the country.

Similarly, one more person succumbed to the coronavirus in the last 24 hours, taking the total death tally to 2,030.
