America’s COVID-19 cases surpass 26.9 million

WASHINGTON: The number of COVID-19 cases has reached 26,902,109 in the United States of America after 116,987 new cases were reported in the country.

Currently, 9,848,311 are undergoing treatment at various hospitals and isolation wards across the country while 16,599,695 have recovered from the pandemic.

Similarly, the death toll linked with the coronavirus has reached 454,103 with 1,794 new deaths so far in the country, according to the latest figures collated by Worldometer.

Broke out in Wuhan City of China in December 2019, the coronavirus has killed 2,246,841 and infected 103,909,445 globally until the filing of this news.
