CK Raut raps NEA and police for snatching irrigation motor and manure



JANAKPURDHAM: The Janamat Party, Nepal has warned the agitation saying that the Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) and the police are suppressing the farmers demanding irrigation and fertilizer for their farming.

Issuing press statement on Wednesday, national President of Janmat Party Dr. CK Raut  urged the Nepal Police and NEA to stop the repression of farmers. He has warned that the people will join the Janmat Party movement if they continue to snatch irrigation motor and fertilizer from the farmers without making alternative arrangements.

“Farmers who are unable to farm to support their families and children have not only been affected by the government’s failure to provide adequate irrigation and fertilizer, but their entire families have also been affected by the crisis and famine,” the statement said.
