Secularism adopted to intentionally weaken Nepal: RPP leader Lohani

KATHMANDU: Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Chairman Dr. Prakash Chandra Lohani said (that) Nepal could be made the top religious destination through the promotion of Buddha and Hindu religions.

Addressing the inaugural session of the general convention of the party in the Kathmandu Valley today, leader Lohani said the secularism was adopted to abolish the long-held religious cultures of Nepal.

Lohani alleged that the secularism had been announced to intentionally weaken the country by creating environment conducive for religious conversion. Nepal could be made prosperous through the promotion of religious tourism.

He further said that corruption thrived in the country in the name of democracy and ideological polarizations, making the mockery of the rule of law.
