KATHMANDU: Nepal Stock Exchange Ltd (NEPSE) has increased by 5.28 points on Wednesday, the fourth trading day of the week.
With today’s increment, the index has reached 2633.65 points.
A total of 5.31 million shares of 223 companies traded today resulting in a turnover of Rs 2.74 billion.
Likewise, the Banking sub-group has increased by a single point, trade by 11 points, development bank by 7 points, hydropower by 7 points, finance by 6 points, manufacturing by 54 points, and other by 19 points.
Hotels and tourism declined by 17 points, non-life insurance by 22 points, microfinance by 5 points, and life insurance subgroup by 4 points.
The value of the two companies has increased by an average of 10 percent. Samling Power and Nyadi Hydropower increased by 9.9 percent.
The recently listed companies have reached Rs 461.40 and Rs 375.60 per share, respectively. The value of the Corporate Development Bank increased by 9.3 percent.
Similarly, the value of ICFC Finance declined by 5.6 percent. Nepal Telecom is at the forefront in terms of the transaction amounts. The company had a turnover of Rs 145.3 million.
