UML Chair Oli not to participate in RPP Gen Convention



KATHMANDU: Newly reelected chairman of CPN-UML KP Sharma Oli is not participating in the general convention of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) today.

Chairman Oli, who went to Chitwan on last Thursday to participate in the UML 10th General Convention, is returning to Kathmandu this afternoon.

RPP Chairman Kamal Thapa had reached Chitwan to extend best wishes on the occasion of the UML general convention.

RPP Chairman Thapa had invited Oli to attend the general convention of his party.

According to Oli’s secretariat informed that he will board a plane for Kathmandu only at 3:30 pm.

Senior Vice Chairman Ishwar Pokhrel or General Secretary Shankar Pokharel is likely to participate in the mega event on behalf of Oli, according the Oli’s secretariat.
